45 minutes this time - Itβs theme is simple: A pony meets his/her recolor, starring Octavia and Fiddlesticks. Draw what might in your opinion happen, you are free to draw whatever you please and comes to your mind.Related content

I have always adored your style of shading. I've been trying to work it out myself on how to make special lighting on objects realistic, and what you've down here is an excellent example. I think it is always the best choice to seek from the best. So if you don't mind, can you give me a few tips on how to operate such lightings? I will be ever so grateful.

Just use references first until you understand how light works, it's hard at the beginning but will be fun to play with later

I've always liked to think that these two are sisters, separated at birth. Fiddlesticks was adopted by somepony in the apple family and Octtavia moved to Canterlot. One day these two ponies met and discover that they were both sisters, Fiddlesticks couldn't let go of the Apple family and therefore stayed in Ponyville. Octavia couldn't bare to live in Ponyville yet alone live with the Apple Family on a farm. Octavia went back to Canterlot and lived with Vinyl Scratch. The two sisters both forgot about each other.
(I once wrote a whole story based on the above, I never published it).

Tavi's destiny is in Canterlot... classical, high society music. Fiddle's is back in Ponyville... good ol' country music. I wonder if they would ever have an episode about these two, I mean it's a good gamble. There's so much to explore about these two ponies: why they have so many physical similarities, and their talents are all aligned to the same skill which is music? What happened and all that led them to who they are now?

I presume they are half sisters. The one is a part of the Apple Clan and the other one is from different family. But they still related.

I love the shading and color used here! I think that this could be an interesting story!

There are those that say Fiddlesticks and Octavia are related and those that say they aren't. Personally, I like to think of them as at least being cousins. That leads me to thinking of Octavia's Overture when I look at this which only serves to increase the impact that it already has.

I consider them sisters. In my opinion it was simply time for Octavia to find her own destiny which lead her to playing in Canterlot. Every family goes through the same thing.
