I hope I never reach a point in my life where I decide I'm no longer going to draw my dumb ocs ever again

this was a great learning experience and also one hell of a trip down nostalgia lane. it's strange - every time I go to draw these characters I end up giving them technology from around the time I first created them. I guess if I ever get around to actually writing down their story, the setting would be stuck ain 2008-2010

anyways. is this the most detailed unnecessarily shippy picture I have ever drawn of these two? yes. yes it is, and my high-school self would be absolutely thrilled to know about it. (in my head, this started off as being Rennan's house, but near the end of the process I decided it was Trent's bedroom instead. small, cozy, full of books and lights and with a prime view of rainy Seattle)
