All that yucky brown is actually gold ink; the stuff doesn't scan worth a damn, but I'm absolutely in love with it nonetheless.

Amazing work! Your 'House Series' is excellent; very nicely done. I understand about the gold ink. Some materials do not scan well. I once had glitter on an old piece, but it scanned like dark dots ._.
Same for magazine clippings - especially silver or white pieces. Scanners can be troublesome at times

Yeah..if the originals weren't so tiny, I might have photographed them! Gold (and sparkles, I expect) at least shows up somewhat that way. No great worry, though.
I'm glad you like the series! It's probably one of the things I'm most happy with having done in a while. Might do something else the same way sometime soon...
