Description
Card # 15 - The Devil. Also known as The Lord of the Gates of Matter or The Child of the Forces of Time. It shows Prince of Darkness himself sittning on throne with two of his chained servants.Meanings: feeling the burden of the material side of life; desire for physical and material things. Feeling of frustration and oppression. Lust. Sexual obsession (?!). The querent's knowledge of his or her own needs, wants and desires. Security versus creative or spiritual fulfillment.
Reversed - true evil. Abuse of authority. Material success is the focus to the exclusion of all other things. Uncontrolled ambition. Greed. Bondage to a person or situation or thing.
Why I choose Xemnas? Ansem (Xehanort) also could be a good choise. But I think above all of them Xemnas is more evil. He is that kind of villian without any good qualities (excepting his unsurpassed hotness, of course!)

Although I don't see Xemnas as "evil" I still think this piece is excellent! Wonderful details and idea!

I dunno. I've never seen Xemnas as an absolute evil. Selfish, yes. Obsessed with his own wants, needs, and desires? Yes. But not evil. He is, as he's so fond of saying, both darkness AND light. So I see him as kinda being in the middle, moral wise. He doesn't go out of his way to hurt people and doesn't take pleasure in seeing them getting hurt, but if it serves him well in his goal, then he wouldn't think twice.
I think Heartless!Ansem would've worked a lot better.

Am I right? The guy talked about darkness CONSTANTLY and how he was going to rule the worlds and how Darkness was the ultimate power, and BLAAAAH BLAAAAH BLAAAAH. Xemnas... Went on about Nothingness. And Hearts. That tends to strike me as a tad bit more subdued to me.
IDK. I'll have to refresh my knowledge in the cutscenes. XD

This one I was trying not to look at. But in the end I gave up and read what the card actually means. You see, when in New Orleans, I had my fortune read via tarot cards by a...very good and knowing psycic. I mean everything there was to know about me, he knew. Well he just so happened to pull The Devil out on me and I started to get scared. He said to beware of the devil. It could be anything from drugs, to sex, and other things. Even things you see no harm in. So I started flipping out. Because I don't know how I will or have faired in making decisions. It probably means I'll be making some bad decisions.
Then I read this one and understood it. I've already passed the Devil. I've been ga-ga over my sexuality (don't worry, I'm still a virgin!) and material things like...the internet...clothes...stuff like that.
But I'm still seeking above everything spiritual and creative developement. ^^ So...maybe I've conquered the Devil when all seemed that I would fail.

I love these tarot cards you are doing. A friend of mine printed these out and we were reading our fortunes and I actually got this card in reverse. That fortune actually was a very bad fortune. Well, aside from my pointless rambeling I say good job!

Yes. Xemnas fits this better than Ansem. Ansem was just stupid. I mean, he really lacked a true vision. What is purely light cannot be turned dark.
Xemnas, however. . .pure evil.
Again, a good choice. And BEAUTIFUL work.

While the art is absolutely breathtaking, I have to say I must disagree about the evil element.
In my mind, Xemnas knew only hate and anger because of his life before becoming who he was. If anything else, he knew only those things and was consumed by them. To him, he was only trying to fit into the grand scheme.
Although his methods were evil. No doubt.
