13'th card - Death. Also known as The Child of the Great Changes or The Lord of the Gate of Death. It shows Grim Reaper with scythe.This card looks scary, but it's not that bad! It's not about death, it's about changes.
It's meanings: the beginning of a new life. As a result of underlying circumstances transformation and change. Major changes. The end of a phase in life which has served its purpose.
Reversed - Change that is both painful and unpleasant. A refusal to face the fear of change or change itself. Agonising periods of transition. Inertia. Lethargy. Mental, physical or emotional exhaustion.
Why I choose Marluxia? The answer is very simple - he has scythe! Well, if you want more deep analysis - he really wanted changes in Organization. He wanted a revolt, a rebellion. He was a kinda rebellious Nobody ^__^

It's funny, that you chose Marluxia for this card, when even in the games he is more or less oozing symbolism for just what this card stands for; death. The sakura blossoms with their symbolism for the Japanese, the Scythe of the Grim Reaper, also imprinted with the color of the sakura, and even his title as the Graceful Assassin...
In your comments you seemed to catch on a little? But you truly picked a perfect person to represent the Death card.

One of my former friends gave me a reading over the phone, how you can do that I have no idea. She said I had the death card, but I knew it wasn't bad.
Just mine was the negative side of it. But it kind of symbolizes what I'm going through now. Transitions in life, and me not really liking what is happening. So definitely painful and unpleasant change.

Marly's perfect for this card, and the spooky graveyard lends some great atmosphere. The zombie hands...I couldn't say enough about the zombie hands.
My only criticism is that his expression seems a little out of place, considering the character himself and his surroundings.

Good representation of the Death card. Nice descriptions, too. I am glad you stress that it isn't a "bad" card. People always got so touchy when I would read the cards and they got Death.
Though, if I were to read with this, I'm sure many would not find it so scary.

Well, I wouldn't call myself a fortuneteller for profit, but I guess if I had to call myself anything, yeah, I guess I am.
I read the cards for anyone willing to ask me about them. I have several decks I use, but one of them I frequent. It is a beautiful deck. I love it to pieces. I never charge anyone for a reading, either. I mean. . .I know some "psychics" and "fortunetellers" will charge upwards of 40 dollars for one reading.
I don't believe in that. You shouldn't make someone pay YOU for something the CARDS are willingly telling you. The cards are living in their own ways. They are borrowing YOUR energy, and you are borrowing THEIR'S.
It's kinda confusing. . .but I really like doing it. And your deck is beautiful.
I'd love to see some of them colored.

For some reason, Marluxia looks a thousand times more Smexy than he did in Chain of Memories. Not that I'm complaining! ^_^ Oh yes, and I liked the description of the Death card too...that how it symbolizes death insted of change...it's very interesting.
