So I came across a Touhou fanwork called "Osana Reimu"; and like an idiot, I binge-watched the whole series and its sequel in one sitting. So now I've developed what's known as "broken heart syndrome".I should be fine, yet my chest just will not stop hurting.

Just wait 'till you get Reireimu, the sequel to Osana Reimu.
Admittedly, the ending is a little...strange, but it's still an emotional ride.

It was a very beautiful story, and really close to canon too. In fact it was so well written every tragic moment in it kick-started my empathy drive.
By the end of it, I was practically drowning in tears.
