I can see this guy as a villain. Afterall, you know how destructive locusts can be, don't you?

Most insect/arachnid themed guys are based on something potentially harmful. Green Hornet, Black Widow, Wasp, Spider-Man, Venom, Tarantula...even Ant-Man, if they're the right kind of ants.
Originally I was waffling over whether this guy should be a villain or a Yellowjacket (Hank Pym) expy. Villain was sort of a last minute decision. I'm not displeased with it, but I wasn't kidding when I wrote I wasn't precisely certain what I was gonna do with him.
Villain works though.

Great idea!!! Dude I already know what you can do with this guy, since he's Locust he could create nanobots that are designed like locust that can eat through any material. Having swarms and swarms causing pure havoc

Yeah, I've already considered the robotic locust swarms...specifically targeting financial infrastructure. Granted, there are no so many back-ups to these sorts of things it would be difficult to the point of impossible to actually topple the world's economic framework short of global catastrophe, BUT, a villain can dream can't he?

Battle Bug's an optimistic and happy boy, so I think he'll lighten Locust's heart and Locust'll show Battle Bug how this world really looks like

Yeah, I need more heroes and villains who don't conform to the paragon-type powerset. I mean I've got some fairly original twists on some concepts, but too many of my guys are paragons and powerhouses. I need more odd, fun types.
