Just playing with Castellan's look a little. The paldrons, breastplate and lames have become slightly bulkier and instead of a visual flash effect that looks kind of like a sword, he has a falchion he can summon for combat. I didn't want to wander too far afield from his super-hero roots so I didn't go wild with the armor effects.So compared to his standard design, how does it look? Better? Worse? Pretty much equal? Inquiring minds want to know.

This design works well if Castellan was a legacy hero and this was one of the earlier incarnations.

This is a really cool design that I could see him adopting as "magical armor" or a power-up in the heat of a battle. Y'know, tapping deep into his powers and this manifests for the fight ahead kind of thing.

While I like the look of the pauldron/kote it does seem to defeat the point of armour in that everything you'd want to protect is uncovered.

Well, I kind of look at it the same way as when artists put armor on Thor or Hulk...it's more thematic than functional or necessary.

While this looks good, I think you are moving away from a traditional superhero look. I say stick with the original but keep the falchion.
