This was taken during my trip home to Ohio over Christmas. We actually had quite a bit of snow, which I was glad for. Usually, a week of seeing snow is enough for me.
One of my favorite parts of being home is wandering around in nature. It's so relaxing and beautiful.
I could have spent all day in this park, skipping stones with my brother, if it wasn't below freezing, heh.

I really like the atmosphere here! The colours make it so that there is a nice feel to it all.. something almost vintage, but not quite. The reflection is great and the snow adds further emphasis to what the weather must have been like, though it looks quite sunny and bright here, even if it was cold!
I think the square format really fits it well too.

Very cool. I love being out in the woods, be it winter or summer. There's a lot of snow around here right now too, which is surprising – but i'm not complaining

Haha, it wasn't my fault! But you can blame my dad to some extent, since he works for the steel industry. The nearby steel mills dump all their waste and chemicals into the river, which caused mutations and death in a lot of the wildlife. :/ It's pretty sad, though thankfully, there have been some environmental regulations passed to stop them from doing that and instructed them to clean up the river. It's a lot better than it was, but it's still pretty gross. I wouldn't recommend swimming there.

And reading the second part of your comment I got my answer. Kids, always read first and ask after, otherwise you will look like a fool!
I definitely wouldn't want to swim there because creeks like these can have leeches, at least in my area, and lets just say that I'm not a big fan of leeches. I have had them and I know that they won't do anything bad, but they just look... interesting.
