This was a request from - my long lost highschool friend!The girl is her OC from a certain game and the tiger is her boyfreind's character from the same game.
They are playing together! Ah sooo sweet
I wanted to make this look good since, it was for those two and they both played a big part in my past life...
Thank you both, the time spent with you was awesome!
You two are both kind and friendly people and I'm happy to see that you're still together after so many years!
I wish you all the best in the future and this picture shall be a little gift for you to have something that will remind you of me.
About the picture itself, well - don't look too much at the tiger, I know it doesn't look right, but I never tried to draw a furry animal digitally, so I didn't know how to make it look good
Still hope you like the picture as a whole... I tried my best for you

nice coloring! I love it! especially the girl.
the only critics I can say is probably the BG, it kinda looks too "empty".
anyway what software did you usually use to draw?

my, you don't have to hold back XD There's much more wrong with this picture than just the background xD
The girl's pose is not right and the tiger coloring is terrible... XD
Anyway I use photoshop CS5... only recently I tried working in Paint Tool Sai, but I still prefer photoshop and use Sai only when I want a detailed lineart...

I used to draw with Photoshop, but now I'm using SAI (I found it more flexible to use),
I use Photoshop only for retouching and add effect of the finished image.
its always a good thing if you can spotting your own flaw, keep practicing and improve!

more flexible, huh? I don't know, I didn't really work much in sai... I'm used to photoshop, so when I want to try doing something in sai I'm always like "uh where's that option? how do I do this and that?"
then I search around half an hour and in the end when I find what I was looking for, I'm like "I would've been done with this long time ago in photoshop" XD
yea, if you can... but sometimes you can't and than it's good if you have someone who can tell you what you're doing wrong

Yeah, Photoshop have lots more option to work with than with SAI, like the edit-transform option, its better in Ps.
Me too have some difficulties when I first learn to use SAI (and there's time when I gave up to try to use it and back to Ps again), but now I feel more comfortable with it. I learn through lots of SAI painting tutorial on youtube and here on DA.

I agree.... when I first opened sai, I was shocked that it didn't have many options which photoshop has... and my thoguht was like "okay, this program is like a child's toy compared to photoshop" XD
though it does have some handy features which photoshop doesn't... especially for linearts... and the quick rotation button is also cool
but yea, I guess it's just a matter of getting used to working with a different program... it's always weird at start, but once you figure out how things work, it's easy... I remember when I first started using photoshop... I was soooo confused XD

I'm drawing something at the moment, but not DBZ. I don't know when, but I definitely gonna draw another DBZ fan art, maybe not soon though.

it's varied, the fastest one I draw is about two days, and the longest one takes me more than a month.
it depend on my mood too, sometimes I would just abandoned one project and working on another one.

well depends... I did the last two drawings in my gallery in a couple of hours... but if I want something to look really good, it can take a few days... but I never go over a week... usually 3 days max... I'd say I use 3-20 hours

nah you're not
though speed can come with practice... you could try doing 1-minute sketches... just trying to copy some images quickly, with no great thinking.... it helps to get a better hang of anathomy and such... of course the sketches will look like crap, but it's still a good practice
