Group missions are games that all members can participate in. You are not required to participate in them. They may not be connected to other missions at all. They are designed for new players to meet other players and find new role-play partners.
It was weeks ago, maybe months; You were cruising through space when the great shadow of a Keeper Dreadnought flew over your ship. You may have tried to outrun it, communicate with it or even fight it. It doesn't matter now though. They boarded your vessel with little resistance and froze your crewmates in stasis fields. You can even remember the cold static as a field materialized around you and sealed your fate as a trophy for the Keeper’s Zoo.
At first your cell might have looked familiar to you. A home world you left years ago or may have only seen in pictures. There was a bitter nostalgia to it even if you didn't have fond memories of being there. But it didn't take long to see that there were oddities in your environment. No cities, no others of your species and oddly enough you would always find a meal you desired even if it didn't make sense where it was. It didn't take long for you to put two and two together to realize you were still under Keeper threat.
There are problems with the simulation they have built for you. It seems that every time they capture a new species for their zoo it causes the simulation to buffer and reveal the true shape of the cell you are in. There is a door, a possible route of escape? But at what cost?
