So! I was watching a let's play of Batman Arkam City few days ago, and apparently you can 'buy' a swarm of bats that will distract opponents~
And I remembered how they always call Batman a flying rat.
so.
Wally doesn't really have control over bats. But he thinks they are adorable and apparently, the feeling is mutual~
When Robin invited him to the Batcave for the first time, the bats just flew down to greet Wally, and he would have probably given all of them names, if it weren't for Batman (because we all know Bruced named all his bats already)
Also, I didn't write this before, but Wally names all his rats. Like literally all of them.
The white rat on his shoulder? That's Tiffany. She's the most bad ass rat you'll ever meet.
There isn't a rat that he had met, and hadn't named. (And because of that, there are 542 rats named Ashley in Central City. He tries to give every rat a different name, but it's not his fault that 'Ashley' fits so many)
Wally's also one of the first people who are tolerated by Batman.
He and Wally bond over their fears, because Wally admits that he was scared of rats once, at the beggining, when he couldn't control them well. But they are a part of who he is now. And Bruce understands and respects that.
Also, a while after Rob told Wally his secret identity, he invited him to the Wayne Manor for a sleep over.
Alfred showed Wally where the shower is and when the redhead came back, sparkling clean, he couldn't find his smelly old clothes anywhere. The butler gave him brand new clothes.
He still isn't sure if Alfred burned the old ones, or not x) The only thing he got back was his old jacket. But it was actually clean now (and it was never clean. Even when he first got it) And all the holes were mended. And some of the worn out material was replaced. And it actually got a few new pockets. And the hoodie was actually propertly sewn now and smelled like some freshness and happiness. what.
And then Alfred gave him food. And he didn't allow the rats inside, but he left them some food, outside the gate.

So yeah. Alfred is one of Wally's favourite people in all dimensions.

Oh! And there is this reaaaally old rat that Wally knows for about 8-9 years now, (and wow that's freaking long for a rat)
and he calls her 'Granny' most of the time. And he doesn't take her on missions, but he sometimes brings her over to the cave. And suprisingly, it's M'gann who likes Granny the most.

And also Wally names his rats after actors and famous scientists and matematicans and also after cool people he met and his team (so there is a 'Robin' 'Kaldur' 'Conner' 'Artemis' 'M'gann' 'Batman' 'Alfred' 'Tornado' ect)
