Luna Aevum Sparkle (nee Vitae), the retired co-princess of the Principality of Equestria and wife of Twilight Sparkle

Upped her design a bit with more color (her markings looked really grey/dull) from the 1st pic I drew of her. Honestly there's a lot going on and I will never get the tiny bits of her mottling right but still I love it!! Might do a pic of her pre and as Nightmare Moon, as the transformation has affected her coat and wings after she was freed from it by the Main 6.
Before her wings were like that of her sister, feathery and grand, and her cutie mark was just the moon and hadn't spread as far: but afterwards her wings have a feathery top layer and the underside is more leather-ish, like a bat-pony, with a clawless finger at the tip. Her cutie mark became larger and the cloudy mottle spread, but that's to be expected when she had used such a large amount of magic to transform in the first place.

I Hc that Luna was first born as a pegasus, and what you're first born as is what shows the most after your ascension to alicornhood. And some traits can't be gotten even after alicornhood. So, she has long tail feathers (something that she and Cadence both have as born pegasi), a fluffy chest, and hoof-feathers that are more cloud like due to her magic. Her horn is large, befitting an alicorn and also her adept use of magic, but not as large as Celestia's or Twilight's (after she's been around about a 100 years and had time to grow), as they were both born unicorns. None of the known alicorns have hooves that match their eyecolor/are cloved because none of them were born earth ponies.

Honestly wanted this to have both Celestia and Luna in it but I keep getting stuck on Celestia's design, it just never feels right to me??? So I'm going to keep hacking at it when I can
