Finally had the time to get these 2 done and dusted
decided to commit to making rarity a pinkish white & changing her cutie mark, it still means the same and has the same 3 gem design when it comes to the harmony tree, just better visually represents that she is also a seamstress to me

rarity is the last tall pony before the shorties begin, starting with twilight (who is considered to be of average height)
unicorn tails come in 2 growth styles; maned (rarity) and tufted (twilight). in the past it used to be very common to discern someone creed by their tail, as it was more common for maned tails to be seen in the aristocracy/nobility and tufts among the commoners. it's no longer all that common in the modern day, though if you go high enough in canterlot you'll still see some nobles use it as a sign of superiority

unicorn horns are like a bony muscle, the more you exercise it, the more magic it can hold, the longer and thicker it gets. genetics play some part in how much a unicorn can handle (such as pumpkin cake, who was born a unicorn despite 3 gens of earth pony, does not have the same max magic capacity of a unicorn born from 3 gens of unicorns) but its mostly up to training/constant use of magic
both rarity and twilight use their horn frequently, so theyre both long, but twilight does more taxing magic more often (magical studies + being like, the main caster in all the fights lol) so its more thick than rarity's.
