Well, here it is...finished!
After once again perusing *phoenirius 's gallery, I got inspired to try my hand at charcoal again, cause she is so awesome at it!
This was the result. I am satisfied with it.
Took about 6 hours total, on and off.
I used hb charcoal pencil, white charcoal pencil, smudge stick and Q-tips.
Comments/critisisms appreciated...especially the latter!
And yes, on the original there is more shading on the forehead, but the scanner didn't pick that up

WOW! It looks just like her. I opnce tryed to draw her, just for the heck of it, and it was a dissaster, total crap. But yours is good, really , really good. I have to :+Fav: because she is one of my fav. actresses.

Really nice drawing! I didn't even realize it was done in charcol at first. Charcol is so hard to use (at least for me) So I think it's really excellent.

As I think it has been made clear, this picture is amazing. lol
I especially like the detail of the hair.
But one teeny-weeny critique I have, is that the jawline doesn't seem to be quite... low enough. Nicole's face is a little longer. From what I've noticed anyway.

I think i might try taking a photo of my drawings, i have trouble like you getting the scanner to pick up everything in the drawing, and the two can end up looking fairly different.
That said, great shading, proportions, you have her looking straight at us, is wonderful

Generally really well done, very realistic and similar, although chosen medium is not the easiest one. I like the shading, it makes the vision of her provocative expression absolutely real. Of course,

Thanks! I messed up a little on the nose while shading, but too late to change that..hehe. No it isn't an easy medium, that is why I am doing more drawings in it. I really need the practice.

Brilliant! The likeness is amazing, I knew who it was straight away! Her hair is really well done too. Okay um criticisms...perhaps her left eyebrow? And maybe her forhead should be shaded a little, but I didn't see the reference picture, where there probably isn't any
I'm working on a charcoal portrait at the moment, though it's not going to look as good as this.
