Edit: After weeks of looking at it and thinking it looks a little unfinished and that he's just floating there, I decided to add a background/frame to give it a more finished look.

Dean turns 29 today and I wanted to draw something special for his birthday. I thought I was going to finish that other digital sketch of him with the US Title I had, but that was kind of an old drawing and I keep seeing so many mistakes, so I decided to start fresh. I found another pic of him with the title that I liked and went from there, and man I blew myself away. Lately I've kind of thought I've been falling short as an artist in the traditional art department. But since I got these new awesome drawing tools, I feel they really helped bring my traditional skills back up to par I'd say. The title gave me issues since my drawing was so small and the details on the belt are tiny too, so some detail had to be sacrificed, but I still like the overall outcome. I've cropped the paper and I'm going to matte frame it with some old matte frames I have left over from photography in high school (damn that's a long time ago ^^'), managed to find one in good shape. Anyways I really like this drawing and the image I referenced it from. He looks casual with the belt, but his hands gripping it tell me how seriously he took being US Champ. I'm glad that he's the third longest reigning United States Champion of this generation of wrestling and to me it's so synonymous with him, that I still consider the belt his funnily enough. It just looks weird on Sheamus and now Rusev...Anyways, enjoy!
