ME TOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I love Kaidan because he was my romance-option and I genuinely liked his personality, but I also adored Ashley as a friend and permanent squad-mate!! I always picked them as the team to follow me out and I just loved the three of us on missions! I practically cried when I had to make that choice to leave her behind X(

Kaidan's my husbando, so no leaving behind. EVER. I kept Ashley alive for my Renegade ManShep, but did it through the comic, because I could not bear to actually sit through the scene of leaving Kaidan on Virmire.

But Ash is like my sis for life, dude. Leaving her...oh god, the last time I was doing a full playthrough, I was like pmssing or something, so the whole "I'm sorry Ash, I had to make a choice" was like, the worst. ALL OF MY TEARS.

I feel the EXACT same way you do about them!!

Kaidan is like my MAN and I loved him! Like no way would I be able to leave him behind. D= But leaving Ashley behind also broke my heart because like you said, I felt her like a sister!

Besides they were always the two people I took along on missions with me (except on Noveria where I wanted Liara to have a chance to see her mother...so i took her and Kaidan). But I just loved my little team. And all our personalities balanced out well, I found.

My first initial playthroughs, I found myself using Garrus and Kaidan exclusively, because paired with my Vanguard, it's the perfectly balanced team. I like keeping them together, and they're always my final team at the end of the game, and I like Ashley and Liara, and Wrex and Tali, but I've been switching it up more recently. I like to get a feel for every character, not just my favorites, and realistically, Shepard would use her teammates evenly, not just leave someone on the ship because she didn't like them.

Kaidan with Ashley, though. BAMF team. And Liara and Kaidan always come to Noveria with me as well.

Haha!! I agree. it's good to switch up in some cases. LOL well probably more than I switch up for XD

Butttt I try to use particular team-members when the mission involves them from the beginning. Like the Dr. Hart planet? Dunno if you remember that one, it had to do with Garrus so I took him along...and Kaidan XD XD

And for another one Wrex was getting back his armour, so I took him along....and Kaidan...

seeing a pattern? XD jkjk

I love all the team-members though! I think they balance out really well in terms of personalities. And we're a team. aka we kick-ass eheh. Love the game.

I always usually pull the "specific" thing, too, like if I remember a particular dialogue was said by a certain character during a certain part.

And it's so hard for me not to overtake Kaidan, Ashley, and Liara places in ME1, but damn, I miss them so much in the second game. Wrex, too, even.
