Thank you
We have a lot of these hawks in our area, although they are heading south and last night we had our first snow that stayed on the ground

It's amazingly realistic.
How long did it take to make it?

Most of my carvings take 60 to 70 hours. The hummingbird is about 50 hours and the Bald eagle was about 100 hours. This includes the painting. Sometimes building the habitat takes another 10 to 20 hours. Thanks for the interest.

So that means at least a week on each carving, then?
Well wow...

I never thought of it that way, most of the carvings are done over a period of 10 to 12 weeks. The life size great blue heron was done over a period of 5 years. The lynx family was carved over a period of 10 weeks but it took 2 years before I finished building their home.
