Alternate history stuff: Because of the ever increasing incursions by the Russian Navy,German Naval chiefs requested an air patrol plane capable of keeping these incursions in check. The development of the Junkers-Dietzman Sea Jeager served this purpose. The Ju-905 can patrol the sea lanes for long periods,can drop bombs,launch torpedoes ,fire anti ship missiles,uses it's magnetic anomaly detector,which is mounted on it's left wing,can track submarines. It can also drag the seas using a drag detector mounted system. A 3 man crew performs it's duties searching for any unwanted ships in it's sea lanes. It started it's deployment in the winter of 1953 and retired from duty in the fall 1986.
