Description Inspired by "Which Of These Worlds" by Louisa John-Krol: [link]

"and here's a world in which I can fly,
and here's a lake I skim like a mermaid,
here's a world where I'm imprisoned,
here's a pentagram of spells
that take a shape and burn like fire,
and here's a world where I beg for my life,
and here's a pleasure screamed with delight,
and here's a street I stalk as a vampire,
here's a world where I am a queen,
and here's a world where love reigns supreme,
and here's a world where I cannot walk.

And which of these worlds will I cry for?
And which of these worlds will I yearn for?
And which…. world did I choose?
And which of these was I thrown into?

and here's a lever lowering a bridge
that leads to castles far in the wood,
and here's a carriage in which I ride
to my demise, my execution,
here I dance with daggers of steel
and here I run with wolves to the sea,
and here's a plate where poison is placed,
a gun to end the life of a rebel
here is snow where a life did expire,
and here's a banquet filled with mirth,
and here's an edict that would make
a billion people into slaves,
and here's a hole that leads to my freedom,
here's a shroud concealing a grail,
and here's a flag, and here's a sail
to take me to the next galaxy."

It's amazing what YOU can do with a piece of sea glass, some copper and a few beads...you have a real talent! I've found a piece of sea glass and tried to wrap it and unwrap it and wrap it again... until I got frustrated and left it for later! ) The little beads look like dew drops on a green leaf to me....lovely...and a beautiful poem to complement the piece - great job, my friend!

Thanks so much! I've missed your thoughtful comments, and feel honoured to receive some! You should try again with that glass, I'm sure you'd make something wonderful. Like any new skill, it's difficult at first and takes some getting used to.

You know I'm a fan of your work I'll have to try again....I was very busy lately - work work work ...haven't had much time for anything else, but the next month should be easier, I'll have more time for my art and crafts again...I miss it

well, it is the single benefit of being unemployed So I try to use it to my best ability. I really hope you do give it a go, because I'd love to see what you come up with.

once again you weave your magic very nice piece, and a very nice poem to accompany it.

Thanks! I'm really glad you like it!

Btw, I just bought normal copper wire without colouring for the first time today, and I keep thinking about your creations, probably because you're one of the only people I've seen use copper in a way I like. So that shall inspire me as I work!

your very welcome and yay! copper wire! i love copper wire... the main reason why i use it is because it goes with any stone or glass color and can alter it anyway, i look forward to seeing those creations =3

it's funny, I can't actualy think -what- to use it with off the top of my head, but I think if I've learned anything from you about copper, it's that it looks awesome in contrast.

lol, im sure you'll find something. and yes, contrast is really the key to it. both appear brighter and more vivid, both in photos and real life, like i said, it alters the color and in my opinion makes it more appealing to the audience.

the colour of the copper you mean, yes? Your copper always looks better than the copper on the spool.

It's funny, in a way I bought it on accident. See, I -wanted- to tarnish it with liver of sulfur, but I bought non-tarnish wire, oops. So now I am challenged to use it effectively.

both. what i mean is, although the colors contrast, they also complement each other... its sounds strange i know, but thats what i find

A well balanced little piece. Well done matching the beads to the sea glass so exactly. I like it a lot.

Thank you for commenting! I was intrigued to discover the effect that same-ness can have; I always thought it would be rather dull if the beads and glass matched too well until I tried it. but then as you said, I found it gives a sense of balance.

AHA! Finally, you post again. Lovely accompanying lyrics.

I really love how the wrapping in most, if not all, of your pieces, is entirely different.
