Description "Take the road that takes you to the sea;
Touch the sand, touch eternity.
Take the time to watch the sun go down,
Watch the golden shadows, falling to the ground.
Catch reflections from the moon tonight;
Touch the stars, touch the silver light,
Look into your heart and you will see,
Feel the ancient fire, touch eternity.

Sails in the wind
Ride on the sea;
Dreams in the sand,
All you'll ever be.

You have finally come into your time,
Feel your beating heart,
Touch the empty sky.
Feel the power come into your hands,
Hear the rolling thunder in the distant lands.

Now the time is here for you to try;
Watch the ancient fire in the morning sky;
Take the road that takes you to the sea,
Touch the sand, touch eternity."

-Road to the Sea, Track 7 of Quest of the Dream Warrior, by David Arkenstone

I can't find this track (or most of the others) anywhere on YouTube, else I'd link it.

This lovely, hand-crafted beach glass pendant is FOR SALE. Silver wire and green glass beads swirl around a piece of green tumbled glass from the sea. Pendant measures 1 inch in length and comes with a complementary ribbon; ribbons may vary with stock. Also please note the way this pendant hangs is at a slight counterclockwise tilt from the photograph (the place the ribbon passes through is the topmost point).

Traded.

Thanks!

Kyla

thank you!!

so, since i'm all new to etsy, I had a question. is it standard etiquette there to convo people thanking them for favourites, or not? The do/don't file said -not- to, but it seems odd there'd be no channel for thank-yous and courtesy. what's the proper mode of interaction?

PhantomNayru In reply to balthasarcraft [2010-05-19 22:55:21 +0000 UTC]

Heart them back~ but it's considered spammy if you thank them via convo.
I know it's strange xD but don't convo JUST to thank them (:

balthasarcraft In reply to PhantomNayru [2010-05-19 23:10:13 +0000 UTC]

ok, that's what I thought. a huge thank you for clarifying though, it really is strange heh.

I'm guessing most of the interaction is done via the "Teams"?

Oh, my beloved combination of green and silver - splended And sadly, I can't find that song anywhere either

It was off of a concept album, with gorgeous art and a story written by Mercedes Lackey. I can only find one track from it on YouTube; I had no idea it'd be that obscure! Thank you!!

This includes plenty of his songs, but not the one you listed indeed...
Anyway, great work. It reminds of the sea even just by looking at its colour. Simple and silvery... one of the best jewels you made so far, I think!

Thank you very much! I wanted to replicate the style I did "Fragment" in, but touch on more complexity.

wow that big bead matches the sea glass perfectly. The accent colour ones are really nice too. And of course your wire work is amazing!

I really like this one.

thank you! There's something about using colours that are almost identical that I've become obsessed with.

Anthares-on-Hype [2010-05-18 10:30:15 +0000 UTC]

The glass encased blends very well within the volutes of the wire. It's not just because of the color, but how you integrated the two components. The result is a beautiful homogenous pendant that gives a natural sense of wholeness. Good work!

Thank you so much! I am glad there is a sense of seamlessness to my style, not just the colours. It's such an abstract matter to find "samness" between dissimilar things, but I am glad to know I have achieved it.
