Description
Character's name is Leena, a midnight Jazz Singer. Also known as Miss Scarlet (for her occupation color) and Siren of Sixth Avenue--for her ability to make men drown in their drinks, lost in her infamous vocals and dark curls. She currently stars in the bar Cabbachigo's (named after her father, the renowned Gang-lord).

La Isla, the background of this story, is a fairly secluded island that is wealthy beyong reason. By day, it's a typical tourist trap with mild casinos, white beaches, and fairgrounds. By night, it carries on an unrivaled amount of illegal trades (per square feet anyway...). Therefore, in everyone's best interest, all denizens are assigned citizenship to Day or Night--each with their own prospective curfews. Neither group is allowed to mingle with the other. Ever. The Night citizens are further broken down by professions into colors of the rainbow (or more bluntly, by sin violated). Only national guards and an elite few are granted dual citizenship, allowing them to freely pass through two worlds as different as...night and day.
