I cried so hard when Fred died, though I didn't cry durng any of the other death scenes (but I did cty during King's Cross for Dumbledore).

J.K.R. said in an interview that George was thever the same again (but I fond it odd that he ended up marrying Fred's ex...).

Nicely done! George looks good here, the expression on his face looks lost and mournful. The dark tones are good too.

The lightning looks awesome...but if I might offer a bit of constructive criticism, I think it rather detracts from the main idea of the artwork. My eye was drawn right to the lightning (for just a moment I thought it was a dark mark). If you were wanting the stormy symbolism, I thing it might work far better to have a much subtler storm outside the window. Right now it dominates the picture.

The scarf is a really sad thing. (Not in skill, in meaning! LOL) I assume it's Fred's. Nice touch.

I love how you depicted George in this piece. It is hard losing a sibling. I lost my brother last October and things have never really been the same. The storm going on in the window works well as a metaphor/representation. That's what it's kind of like some days: a storm of emotions. Saddness, anger, confusion, etc. Great job on the pic.

i had asked my boy friend what he thinks George must be like now. we came to pretty much the same conclusion still pushing foward, still with the jokes and the shop, but still never really the same. great piece. ^_~

I Really can't understand WHY she had to kill so Many people in her series... but one of the most in vain was the lost of the twin. Poor George
I've seen how is it like, as my very close friend lost his twin at age of sixteen.
To see all that pain and sorrow and lonelines and have no words to comfort...All the memories came back...
When I finished that series, I felt hollow and sad and felt like goin and shaking up JKR a little bit: 'Wake up woman, what's a matter with ya!'....

Faved this for two reasons:

1) George has my complete & utter sympathy. He's my favourite Weasley next to Charlie, and I know what it's like to lose a sibling that's so close to you. (Although my brother was 20 months older than me, but still...)

2) He looks hot.

I'm amazed at how well you've captured his loneliness and sense of loss here. Kudos to you.
