Sorry for the crapola quality, I did this in about ten minutes.

Oh wow.

Okay, so I've been working for this magazine called Famazon ( [link] buy one now!!!) and the entire first issue was about Twilight. Now, I knew nothing about Twilight, so once the insane life of OMG WE GOTTA GET THE MAG TO THE PRINTERS NOOOOWWWW!!! was over, I decided I was going to find out what this whole Twilight deallio was about.

I went into it knowing that Edward is an insanely good looking vampire who falls in love with a plain looking girl named Bella.

So I go to the theatre.

My first impression is "oi...we are the oldest people here!" then I notice a man in his mid to late thirties and think "yay! not the oldest!" then I see his twelve year old squeeing daughter hand him popcorn. "Crap."

First comes Bella. And I thought "Plain? She's damn good looking" and then tell myself to be realistic in that hollywood would never allow a plain looking girl to play the lead and I brush it off.

....

Then out comes Edward. I swear to you, I am not making this up, I laughed SO HARD when I saw him I disturbed the entire theatre! I mean, come on! This guy is supposed to be good looking? You mean he isn't supposed to look like a reject from an Eddie Izzard standup? (Yes I know Ernie has no eyebrows and Burt has a unibrow, but cut his unibrow in half and had I not said Ernie no one would know who I was talking about!) But yah, I can't find this guy attractive to save my life. It's like trying to say Tom Cruise made a sexy Lestat, it makes me shudder to think it.

I had to laugh every time he lurked up behind her and told her to stay away from him. Yah I get the teen angst okay, but some things are just laughable.

And the shiny diamond snake skin thing? omg....

I'm a raging lunatic fangirl, and I can't find anything to rage about here, other than wondering why the hell this is so popular.

If you liked it, good on you, to each his/her own. But for me? I have to say the only thing I liked was that for once it's not all about teen sex. (I know, for those of you who actually know me, that must sound like an insane comment coming from me)

And then I found out she also directed Thirteen. Yah...now I see why it's such a winnner....
