Description
There are places in the Dream Realm and the dream fabrics of ponies and other creatures where strange, often grotesque, and sometimes very malignant beings live. Not all are dangerous, but Applebloom often have to deal with them now in my Equestria dreamscape.

Yeah, with her abilities Applebloom starts making all kinds of out of the ordinary friends and acquaintances. She hasn't turned into a goth, but haunted houses and ghost stories have lost most of their bite with her.

Applebloom with the "eyeball tripod" (eye-pod?) reminds me of Will Smith from Men in Black
Sure the eye-pod is grotesque to us, but it could very well be a lost, young offspring having a nightmare of its own (middle-right certainly looks like it has been crying and is asking Applebloom for help). If that is the case, good on Bloom for not "shooting/scything first and asking questions later" just because something does not have the requisite four legs and technicolour coat and mane. I think Luna would be proud of her apprentice...

I've had dreams/nightmares with creatures since I was small child. The style has evolved and changed over time but I've always had very vivid dreams.

The eyeball arachnid-creature seems to me like it's trying to goad Applebloom into doing something stupid for a CM (since you didn't draw her with one) or maybe saying in a really creepy voice "Do you by any chance have some Aaaaapples?"
