If you've been following some on my more recent postings of anthro MLP characters you might be wondering what their opponents from the Realm of Shadows look like? Well they come in many forms but here's one example that I sketched out very quickly this afternoon. The ponies refer to them as Shadow Ripper and they look like a cross between a Xenomorph and a Velociraptor. They are quick, often move is small packs, and if the right magic is in the area they can materialize out of the shadows in a local environment.

Fortunately the ponies have developed countermeasures to prevent them from doing that last trick in many areas, and for their ferocious nature they don't take too much force to put down if the correct equipment and techniques are employed.
