Description I can't decide if this flower is lonely, defiant or triumphant.

Gotta go with triumphant on this one, personally. It's the one that managed to "stand out," as it were, from the rest of the foliage, and grow to be the only flower in its immediate vicinity. The defiant descriptor works, too, for similar reasons, but who's to say it can't be all three at once? One can defy the norm and emerge triumphant, but as the only one among his peers to do so, one could expect him to be lonely in his victory.
