Description
I love this fabric...since I made this gown I have come to realize that there are more authentic options for fabric. But still. The occasion that this gown was created for called for the bees, which are my heraldic device in the SCA. I designed this gown based on "Portrait of a Lady", 1533, by Bernardino Licinio and the Portrait of a Florentine Noblewoman, 1540's (this is that green gown that is so popular these days). This gown was featured on the Realm of Venus website a few years ago.
