Description
the idyllic farming village of Biberg, from chapter 1 and much later in Bad Blood Runs Black, done for a Drowtales midstream challenge, Create a Map. took me 8 hours (with 2 interruptions by a family member). the north-south thoroughfare is the Silver Highway. in chapter 1, Pana and Haergrim came in from the south and stopped at the Heuboden Inn for the night. the next morning, the Elfin ranger climbed the hillock to see the Blackstonian column they spotted the day before, but they were nowhere to be seen.

the Heuboden (hayloft) Inn used to be a popular waypoint for merchants traveling the Silver Highway, but caravan traffic had come to a halt bc of what people thought were bandits. this meant Pana and Haergrim had their pick of rooms, and at a reasonable price to boot. the entrance and dining room would be in the middle, with their staterooms in the southern end (the tiny hut behind the inn, between it and the horse stalls, might be the bath house)

the next morning, they resumed their trek to the capital, using the Silver Highway to the north. much later in the story, during the High Porte of the Elfin Nation invasion, the hapless inn was last seen by Baron Munfrid from his Fly-craft, on fire and abandoned
