Last night I was in the mood to draw Poison Ivy, everyone's favorite sultry vixen from the Batman Universe.I've been drawing Poison Ivy for a while but I never finished one or showed my images to anyone... until now.
Her outfit is my own personal choice: I don't like her outfit from the original comic. I always imagine her in either langere or just some ivy covering her "bits."

Forgive me as I'll put all appropriate artistic commentary aside for a moment and say... HOT DAMN. 8D
That's an absolutely gorgeous piece of fanart of her, it's sexy and so well drawn, love the inking job. The anatomy looks so good, something I especially paid attention to were her knees (and feet) as I always have trouble drawing them when a character is sitting down like that... Uh yes. Can't wait to see a colored version! ( >v< )

The knees I wanted to tackle because for years I have struggled with bending positions. I think I finally got it.
The thing you need to remember is how many heads high a character needs to be. A character is generally 6-7 heads high. If you measure the head from the neck down the legs are generally 2 heads high or possibly 3 depending on the height of the character. Try drawing out the character before hand and then just crop the character at the knees.
