Asta is a big ball of energy with an optimistic can do type of attitude. She seems to be an emotion-driven individual who loves to see the happiness in others and has an active imagination that of a child. One can see (and hear) from a distance she is an energetic chu (or hearing those bells on her tail) and seems like nothing could bring her down. She is very known to be fearless in both combat and while roaming about, facing dangers like they're an everyday occurrence. Her curiosity seems to bring out this tenfold for she doesn't understand much in the world as it is. She can be very motherly towards anyone who wants or seem to need it. Not knowing if her child was still alive or not, missing her brother, and their parents' death, Asta has become quite lonely despite making new comrades at the town they called freedom. She also became stressed from the isolation and has made herself really emotionally detached from anyone that has had a love interest in her while she was a guard. Twenty-nine years as a slave has made her rather jumpy when anyone so much as touches her, but as long as you don't sneak up on her, she'll welcome you with open arms.

◊ History: Being born a slave was not the type of life anyone wished to be born in. Fate was cruel enough for Asta to be born in such a lifestyle. As soon as she was able to walk, she was taken and experimented on, along with others, getting injected with various substances to see how it would effect them. Most died during the torturous ordeals, but due to one of her abilities, she was able to live through many that came her way. Everyday, she was taken early in the morning, experimented on, and then tossed back to her parents to work in the fields. Those who kept them forced Asta's parents to breed again and she had a new baby brother. She wanted to smash the egg right then and there to save the poor child from this life, but for some reason couldn't bring herself to do it. Something in the back of her mind told her not only he would die, but she might too and she didn't want her parents to be alone.

As she got older, She would soon learn that positivity and optimism would be her weapon to keep her family alive until they were able to be free. Along with her parents and some others they were crammed into a small hut with, they all shared happy quite moments, singing songs and just creating little bonds with each other until it was back to the hardships the next day. Asta made a particular bond with a water glowchu months after she'd evolved and they mated in secret. Asta immediately regretted her decision when she soon learned she was pregnant. It was good timing too because they had found new test subjects since she was immune to what they gave her now. She did her best to fool the masters and pretend she wasn't pregnant and kept working like she normally would. One night, she gave birth to the egg and silently cried. Looking at the egg and holding it one last time, she had her brother take it and put somewhere far from here and safe. She didn't want her child to be succumbed to this life and possibly get killed, just like her father and many others. It would be a fortnight until she was able to see her brother again, with him all bloody and bruised. She tried to fix him up as best she could and sighed in relief when he told her the egg was safe. Hopefully someone found it and took good care of it.

Years seemed to past and everyone was losing hope, even Asta was losing her usual positive attitude and soon stopped altogether, seeing that most of the hut mates were dead anyways. She'd wished out of this. A loud booming noise came from outside and all Asta could do was curl up and cover her ears, asking Raj what was going on. As if her prayers from earlier were answered, a lady with her band of soldiers came and set them free from their lifelong imprisonment. Asta couldn't form words as she embraced all that were in her sites. They were treated and taken to a new town, where they could be truly free from captivity. She danced and sang with her brother and everyone in delight until her parents collapsed on the ground. Her happiness was cut short and soon they died with smiles on their faces. Unlike her brother, Asta took full advantage of their parents' wishes and join the guards to train so she could help other as they helped her. Seeing her brother was nervous about staying, knowing he would of been killed if he were on duty that night, she let him go and wished him luck. In honesty, she didn't want him to leave, but if it would help him, she wasn't gonna hold him back. Soon after he was gone, she left an even bigger hole in her heart and despite making tons of new friends and learning how to read, write and understand. Soon after evolving, she left behind her cape and kindly left the guards and townfolk in search of her brother. She couldn't possibly stay apart from him for too long she'd realized.
