Well, I drew Billy the Cat fanart a LOOOONG time ago, but it's time for another pic...To recap, Billy the Cat is a comic/cartoon about a boy named Billy who turns into a cat. (The cartoon version had him getting changed by a magician Eddy McDoud style, but, thanks to my bro Synduo, I know that the origional comic had him getting run over by a car.) Since he's a rather small cat, and yet still has all his human desires and stuff, his life gets real complicated real fast.
Anyway, I drew Billy but neglected my favorite character so far from the 4 episodes I've seen: Billy's teacher/protector/feline father figure; Mr Hubert. Hubert's basically the distigushed gentleman type, and it's really surprising to see him rescuing Billy cause you don't get the feeling he'd be able to hold his own in a fight- but he's smart and crafty enough to get big dogs off of Billy when the time arises.

Well, I did finally get the first ten issues from The Pirate Bay, if you wanna go that route. I don't know too many other ways outside of going to some place that sells them.

Ahh it's nice to see someone else has seen that show and enjoyed it. Four eps isn't much though, I've seen a ton of 'em. ^.^
I hadn't heard of the comic before, that's nice to know.
I only know about the story from what I've seen. Though the eps tend to go back to a 'base setting' after each, Billy does grow as time goes by.
Mr. Hubert complains a lot about Billy claiming to have been a human, and Billy eventually finds the magician again. The Magician wants to turn Billy back, but he had just turned the head of his fan-club into a rabbit, and could only turn one of them back. Billy made an agreement that if he didn't get turned back into a human, he'd stop talking about it and accept his life as a cat. Of course, he didn't get turned back, and so he only talks about his previous life in passing and in reference for the rest of the series.
He's pretty wimpy untill the museum ep when he remembers that he studied martial arts as a boy, but even then he can only stand up to the other cats, the dogs are too much for him.

I really wanna do more BTC fanart. I myself have a series called Starcats involving housecats who go into outerspace to save the world from evil rats, and I wanted to do a series of "Celebredy Starcats" including Bully and a few of his friends.

(I'm currently translating the french version to see exactly what happens that causes the translation... So far as I see, he dies, has a talk with something that looks like a weevil and an aligator wearing anchient spanish duds, and falls off a cliff, and the next thing he knows, he's a cat in the back of a garbage truck.)

Belive me, I've actually come up with an idea as to how a real Billy the Cat videogame would play out. It would be cool to make it two player with both Billy and Mr Hubert each with special powers (Billy can fit into smaller areas, move faster, and operate human things like doorknobs, Mr Hubert would be better at fighting, and could give Billy little boosts and stuff.) kind of like the Donkey Kong Country games.
