Page 2 of my final shots in 's art jam. I warn you, the artwork gets crappy here, cause I did 1 and a half pages in class. XDMax from Dinosaur King: Well, I remembered Mushi King, so I included him. Same All-Star move only replace beetle with dinosaur.
Headdy and Trouble Bruin: Arch enemies joining forces? No, Trouble Bruin thinks he's the only one running the race, and Headdy's riding him cause he's cocky like that. All-Star move: Headcase appears and Headdy gets a choice of heads to use to help him get farther in the race. "Hammer Head" is distructive to opponets, "Bomb Head" blows everyone on the track up at the same time, and "Vaccume head" sucks up anybody elses power ups.
Ghost creature from Laser Ghost: Nobody probably remembers this game, but I had some fun playing it. This guy hawks up deadly goo when he's doing his All-Star Move.
Wild Woody: Heh heh heh... All-Star Move, he erases opponents which has them respawning like if they fell off the edge.
Mega Droid: The Fleetway Sonic The Comic Mascot gets his own vehicle. All-Star Move:.... Um... I don't know- Reprint Bombs?
Astal: I cannot draw him. All-Star Move: the bird from the game flies arround him causing a force field that blocks attacks and knocks out opponents.

Edit: Kind of kicking myself for not looking at the deadline again. XD Gonna make some more after this.

And as for Mega Droid, I admit, I found this "Sonic the comic retrospective" feature on Youtube where this one guys giving a whole, and very well done, synopsis of the series, along with it's good parts and bad parts. It got me interested, and I found a torrent of every issue. After reading a few issues, I HAD to draw Mega Droid- he was cool. XD

Wild Woody was psychotic to the point where he was annoying. XD
Although I liked his whole concept- a living pencil who can draw stuff that come to life and erase enemies with his eraser butt- AND he shrinks down to a nub when he's drawn too many pics and can fit in smaller spaces. If they hadn't made him a boring standard platformer and waited til the technology allowed them to REALLY have fun with him, he would have been that much more awesome.
Also, get him to stop roaring the "Wild" part of his name in cutscenes. XD

And lets not forget it's hard to consider him anything other then a throwaway character when you give him a name that sounds like a dirty joke punchline.

LOL. You know, given the humor of the game, if Wild Woody flat out said the words "Totem Dad" it would have both fit in AND rocked out loud.

Astals got a special place in me as well. I remember seeing his kick ass video in a store, growing up never having seen the whole game in action, and suddenly remembering the name and reuniting with it.
On the whole, he kind of makes me think of Asterix and Yosamite Sam spliced together.

But ingame, playing it, he's like a Sonic 4 done well
(yeah, Sonic 4 isn't really making me want to buy/play it from what I've seen so far!)

You know, while I was drawing him, and remembering who I was drawing him for, I couldn't help but think "Astal looks like Mighty the Armadillo if he was human."
It's the way his hair hangs over his back like that.
