I had to find an excuse for depicting a turian high five, when I realized they can totally do it with their three fingers forming a Roman number: "V", as in "5"
Also a lil something including Takk, 'cause she is with knives and she's awesome, and totally felt like drawing her after 's amazing piece about my crazypie Zaaz that you can admire clicking here !
And what's happening here? Nothing really, please stay calm, it is just two pissed off turian ladies unleashed, delivering frickin' punishment to some invading husks when shit kicked in for Omega in the absence of Aria. The raid was inexpected, so no sweet blades for Zaaz :{, who anyway loves whatever spits bullets, but the Phalanx is a handy lil favourite of her. Well, I can't speak for Takk, though --- cuz I confess, I have no idea what's her weapon of choice --- here anyway she's wielding the M3 Predator - my bet

Thehheh xD However honestly I almost had nothing to with the whole pic after simply adding your gurl, and putting Zazzie in with your unearthly retouched outfit for her *okay, that's a massive lie, there was still some roadworks to do xD* but it was no doubt the greatest FUN to put them in the line of fire, or rather ring of fire like that
Also.... I miserably failed at saving Takk from my chronic jacket fever aaaand... got one for her ^w^ Just a lil more that nothing to cover her chest of spiky-piercy knives. For, well, covert reasons (ignore her not-at-all self-explanatory leg holsters though xP ). So yeah, but glad it hit you right

Zaalia is a Cabal vanguard and Takk is a Talon interrogator. They've been into business of their own for a while, but definitely it is the blood that drives them

Well, Zaalia is a Cabalite, so she is working for the turian special forces (Cabal). And the purple lady is member of the Talons. Would be more like a man of Nyreen, IF it wasn't for the fact that Takk's character was made in an alternate universe of ME (the Mass Effect Universe roleplay site w11.zetaboards.com/Mass_Effect⦠where things unfolded slightly alternately comparing to the games, so neither Nyreen nor Aria was in charge at the time the pic was made about.
Phew, that's a long answer for a simple question xD But yup, technically that's how they did not end up in a quarrel with Aria :}

Now here comes the twist, because when I drew them I thought Takk was designed for the original timeline! xP so in my head it took place at the time when the Omega DLC plays. Okay, not a big deal though storywise, but yeah, answering your question: the reapers were around at the time similar to the original timeline, except on MEU - since it was established before ME3 was released - the ending is not revolving around Shepard, but rather some other OCs. But even after the war there are still remnant isolated reaper units in the galaxy.
