Day 12- Whirlwind- 2 hours- Hi everyone! I've got a project going, which required I produce some thumbnails-- the usual three. So I decided to take one of the ones that I did today, that got rejected and push it a bit further into today's sketch. The idea behind her is that she is a wind spirit, and since her hair is a prominent feature, I decided to make it like a tornado. A little bit about my process-- I used a few references-- credits will be added in the comments. Among those references are two women I know. A mother and a daughter. (they know who they are lol) I met them last year and I've always found both of them to be strikingly beautiful. And it's not even just an outside thing, but inside as well-- and I just wanted to capture that in my work. Decided to do a print of this one and paint gold ink on her jewelry parts. Really loved doing this one *_*
