As tensions rise in North America, the table is being set for a war between Mexico and America

Mexico: With rising seperatism in the Mexican Empire, with Texas and Central America, the army is stretched thin trying to quel it before it get's out of hand but eventually in 1835 the Republic of Texas revolts and after it's independence Central America tries something similar, and declares themselves The United States of Central America but that one is suppressed by the empire and Mexico is now facing pressure from The USA

USA: In 1829, Virginian Whig candidate, (fictional)Michael Phisher(the Conquerer of Canada) defeated Andrew Jackson in the Presidential election of 1828
Before Presidency he ran as Governor of Virginia and began to industrialize it, rather then keep it an agricultural based society. He is also notable for being a strong abolitionist and eventually outlawed slavery in Virginia. While during his Presidency he didn't end slavery despite being strongly against it but made it easier for slaves to escape for freedom in the Northern US. He passed the Free-Slave act of 1831, which outlawed the return of former slaves in free slave states to southern slave states.

The Emperor of Mexico was never taken down by the army in the OTL so Mexico never republicanized
