No, I didn't enter. I kinda ran out of time to submit anything... and I didn't really think I was good enough anyway. Your submission is amazing, btw. I hope you win!

thanks! There's not really any underspray because I used a shitload of adhesive spray... too much, in fact - it lifted the paint underneath so I kinda had to carefully go around and press it all back down. But I also blame that on the shitty Ironlak paint I used because I couldn't get any Montana :/ oh and I had to trace the background (silhouette?) layer off the other layers because photoshop shat itself before I had a chance to save/print it all... haha.. which is probably why the ear on the left is slightly too large. ah well. all things considered, I'm just happy it even looks like a giraffe.

I love how clean it is! I'm always a huge fan of stencils on wood
Ironlak is kind of tricky, I've definitely noticed that it lifts paint from the layer below when you take off the stencil you just sprayed, I find the trick is you have to take off the stencil right after you spray, don't let it dry at all. I still LOVE ironlak, myself!

I'd be happy with the way it turned out too. Great choice of material for the background & you did a great job of masking the image to prevent bleeding.
