this is just my process,and not the only way to draw/color an eye.
its all about what style and process
you like and feel most comfortable with.

I used the mainly the basic brush for coloring, with the basic
water tool for some blending in a few places,
and the pen tool for the details.

Eeeee I have the worst time coloring eyes. I've been drawing humans for a LONG time but only on paper, so now that I'm trying to color them in Sai, everything is new again and ugh x___x I suck so hard

I've been using SAI for years. I started off doing like anime-ish people, but always sucked when it came to coloring. So I gave up on people and turned to dragons/monsters for some reason and found that they're easier to draw and color. Did that for a few years and then realized "wtf I like drawing people and all my characters are people so why am I drawing monsters". So here I am again, trying to learn how to color people xD

i was the exact opposite.
when i was a kid, i drew dragons and unicorns
all the time. -so hardcore-
and then i started drawing anime stuff when i was in 7th grade.
i just recently got serious about digital coloring, within the last year
and a half maybe. Weird.

tbh my digital art looks better than my marker art, and i really like the clean look to digital art so i try soooo hard and its like ... "NOPE FUCK YOU" xD I just want to fill my gallery with good art ughhh
