lol .... yup .... that was when they were still pretty cautious so it was a big deal. NOW they all stick their heads right thru the open window to eat what ever they can get from us .... it's crazy!
The glass makes an amazing reflector when it is low in the sky like that. I got some great light in the middle of winter from my front windows reflecting too ..... so both sides were nicely lit! Thanks!

lol .... yup .... although now Lilty has taken over that spot which is good cuz the rest of the deer really push her around. Thus she never gets to eat and with her blind eye can't see a mean hoof coming in her direction. So I feed the rest out front .... then meet Lilty at the window and feed her there ... it's really sweet :]

thanks so much ..... it was really really cold that day and he was actually enjoying the warmth .... there are a couple of large windows in the garden doors off the bedroom just to the right of him (toward the left in the image). So he was getting both the sun on one side and the warmth of the reflection on the other side. He was standing there for quite a while actually .... half asleep

yesterday I sat on the front steps with a pail of feed between my feet on the ground. Wilbur ... my fave ... got impatient and cautiously came right up and took a couple of mouthfuls straight out of the bucket. Thus our faces were almost touching .... it was pretty cool! I don't think they can move their eyes upward very well. Cuz the when the little short ones look at my face (when I am standing) they have to lift their heads up quite high so they are looking straight down their noses. Its very cute and reminds me so much of someone having to look thru bifocals to see ..... lol
