i really really really really like it. great contrast. really gives you a sense of.... i guess hypocrisy? because they pollute everything so badly that the world is gray, and yet they compensate with these bright colorful ads... i dunno. food for thought i guess.

at the street level, with the bright signs and the people and the light, life somehow seems kinda vibrant. dingy, but vibrant. that contrast with the dark, brooding sky above is wonderful.

The photograph is quite visually overloaded... aiding the theme of pollution... nice~~ ... but what arrests my attention the most is the title of this piece: undercuts the presence of the multitude of advertisements and suggests, in an ironic tone, their redundancy.

Aw, this is great, they never seem to end here... When I lived in Taipei there were many streets like this and I definetely know this "aggressive pollution." I could only imagine that Hong Kong would be even worse. Anyway, great shot!
