this reminds me so much of Ray Bradbury's 'Martian Chronicles'.
Almost as if it should have been the cover (and it would have made a spectacular wrap-around)

You know how much I like how your shapes look "simple", yet, everything is set and we can feel a mood. I like your "minimalism" which is, of course, the result of a lot of training

And thanks again for the image, I've printed it and it's now just in front of me

betteo In reply to jsmonzani [2009-12-14 22:09:25 +0000 UTC]

Excellent.

monolith: Maybe a good combination of minimalism and "mood", as you say, are the key. I'm familiar to that. We lazy artist.
And lots LOTS of training, yes yes.

This still remains one of my all-time favourites of your work...

If you ever considered releasing it as a dA print, I'd order it in a heartbeat...

...

Dude, I hate to say it, but I've already spent more than 1500 USD on dA art for this Xmas... Would you mind keeping it available as a print anyway? It's heading straight for my wish-list, and I hope I'll have the money to buy it for my birthday in June... Until then I'll have to make do with the Havana print...

el lens flare no es mi cosa preferida.... lo demas, en especial el color (que en mi opinion es lo que mas importa), muy bueno! saludos desde amishlandia donde no tengo internet...
