I tried to romance Garrus and got pretty much the same. Finally, when I got that chance, I was just too shy to openly hit on him, and blew everything. And now he' s always all about calibrations, and I don' t know who to romance.

Lol. I found a fast way to get his attention so to speak, is when you mod the game to let you recruit whoever you want, then everyone's loyalty missions pop up fast.

I think you can mod the Xbox but it's a lot harder, also idk if you can do this specific mod since apparently the whole reason they didn't let you recruit in any random order is because the Xbox had to be split into two discs :S

Yeah, the xbox version, if you visit a random planet that isn't a set 'recruitment' planet after a certain point in game, it bumps you off to disc 2. Just, why? Sigh!

Its more like getting his attention away from calibrating, than romancing. Even in a non romance situation, the amount of times I went down there to further conversation all I'd get was 'not right now...' /grindteeth
