attempted a more "real world feasible" TJ. Main diff is his dreadlocks are thinner, more numerous, and longer, and he's got no bangs. I also figured his beard would go all around rather than his goatee and chops being separate.Related content

I think he's really gorgeous ! Not exactly like I was imagining him... however, It was pretty difficult to me to put color on your comic (especially his blue eyes), so this picture help me quite well at that... ^^

TJ is STILL instantly recognizable! This looks really really good! I love the slight sunburned look he's got and the hatching is really well-implemented here. Those dreads and that hair are looking as impressive on their own as some of the details in your sky paintings, just, so good.

These are really interesting to see because how you draw them normally seems "real-world feasible." (I wouldn't have noticed how impossible the bangs would be if you hadn't pointed it out!)
Maybe it's because your style isn't anime, and anything that isn't anime automatically becomes reasonable by comparison.
(unrelated but this has been bugging me; didn't you mention you live in the houston area? I recently drove there for a concert and thought about you.)
