Thanks! This comes straight out of Poser - no color tweaking on Photoshop. Although on hindsight I should touch up the hair and the abdomen area where the chain mail is protruding out of the armor. Overall I'm quite happy with the new firefly renderer. I see that it has improved a bit from v7 - just have to experiment with different light settings to get the realistic look in your work.

Yes, Firefly gets the job done, although often it takes some time to do so...
Hadn't noticed the protruding chain mail at all, as it blends very well with the armour ornaments around it (I said it before, but - it really is a nice set of armor).
I wonder, do you plan to make a more in depth render from this study?

oh yeah. It now takes a tad longer to render compared to v7 even with an upgraded 8Gb RAM on my mac.

The armor? Well I'm not sure yet. We'll see when inspiration strikes me.
