Description This is my tonkybar theme for Dockbarx x.0.23.2.
its somewhat of a combination of the default and new theme of dockbarx my old tonkybar and many from shinybar by ~Levviathor [link]

it has now mouse-over effects (thanks to shinybar) and it shows the numbers of open windows (up til 4) and changes the icons

Update for Dockbarx x.0.30 and added a little launching effect

Hi, your theme is really cool. But somehow it doesn't work on my dockbarx =X

When I apply it, it kind of doesn't change anything or gets different. Did anyone report this issue already?
I'll be glad if you can help. Thanks

looks pretty damn good
Any advice for changing application icons?
I too use Token and would like to not have the default app icons with this theme.

open alacarte find the aplication you want to change. double click on it, click on the icon and change it with another icon. refresh dockbarx

Sorry, I should mention a couple of examples...

Gimp
Rhythmbox- when I maximize it from the system tray it's greyed out, when I reminimize sometimes the icon hangs in dockbarx till I hover over it

HTH, thnx

Hi,
does it happen with other themes too?
try out the included themes of dockbarx (default, new, ...)
i reported this bug on the launchpad site of dockbarx, lets what happens

Actually, I just realized it also happens with one of the default themes, "New", maybe even with the others.

Thanks for filing the bug!

Again, great work on this theme, congrats!

Beautiful theme, I love it!

I'm seeing a bug though...

Sometimes if I run an app that's not already a dockbarx launcher, the icon will appear greyed out/unfocused. Hovering over the icon will focus it/bring color to the icon & background. Known issue?

BigRZA In reply to NielsHakMusic [2009-10-31 17:44:28 +0000 UTC]

after downloading unzip [link] in ~/.dockbarx/themes
than select tonkybar from dockbarx preferences

I love what you've done. Things blend very well.

One things though, is how the mouseover effect from Shinybar's color and opacity is changeable, while the active window image from Tonkybar is not. The orange color you've chosen is excellent, so I'd recommend finding a good color and opacity for the mousover and hard-coding it in, i.e. replace all of the active_color's and active_opacity's with whatever you think looks good.

Also, I love how you've mixed Matias' stacked icons with Win7's stacked buttons. It looks great.
