Description
My third Watercolor finished on Jan 18, 2017. I felt that I was beginning to understand how to create atmospheric effects, but that at times the paint and water combination got a little out of hand. On Arches 9" x 11" paper. I used to go backpacking in the spruce knob area, in a place called Dolly Sods. This picture reminds me of hiking in the early morning there.Related content

I totally agree with you, that's something that I hadn't thought to do yet! In some watercolors that I made in February I started to add birds.
