I'm really unhappy about the whiskers
white watercolors failed me, a white gel pen failed me and even white acrylic paint failed me
The whiskers are almost invisible even in person.Over the weekend I had a kind of "painting marathon", so I could finish it.

gesso usually works for me or i use masking fluid before i even start

The colors are actually quite different in person, but you'll see. I added a "warmly" filter on it in Picasa, because there were problems with the contrast after scanning and it changed the colors quite a bit.
