I love Lorrikeets! They are so very cheeky, this 'guy' included. I had a couple who seemed to like me rather a lot, in that they would always fly up to my window when they saw me, and on one occasion decided they would waltz right into my bedroom through a tear in the fly screen! Such "wild" birds they were (though I think the softened grainy bread and jam may have had something to do with it).

Yeah it's amazing how much emotion a beak can display even though it's shape can't be changed. In reality it was probably a bit scared as I had to get around ~30-40cm away in order to get that level of detail.
