Description The other day I wanted to develop a couple of designs that I've had floating around for a while. I felt most of these didn't require a full page so I threw together a little sketch dump.

Top left: A new species of chemosynthetic organism related to Ardilaph fetuli. This species can be found all over the planet, but it grows most abundantly in volcanic/geologically active zones. the shape of the organism 'lungs' varies depending on its specific location. Individuals growing from the crest of a hill will develop to be wider higher up, while others living in more wind-exposed areas will develop a narrower top.

Top right: A few new species belonging to the family Ventidiceae. I wanted to experiment with different shapes for these organisms and to look at how different environments would select for different levels of streamlining.

Bottom left: Surprise! It's... another plate based flora. I drew a little inspiration from brittle stars of earth and wanted a species with longer, winding reproductive tendrils.

Bottom middle: A small photosynthesizer which, during early development, pulls together a sort of cocoon of sand and dirt to protect itself and hold it in place. I'll be taking a closer look at these in the future.

Bottom right: A new species of Kinetesynthetic organism, related to thought not a part of the taxonomical family Ventidiceae. This species attaches itself to the side of tall standing objects (boulders, tree trunks, cliff sides, etc), where it extends it's kite upward to harness the wind overhead. illustrated is a side view as well as a closer look at the structure of the kite.

That a good idea. I have some plants for animals using the wind to move, but nothing like that yet! I’ll keep it in mind

So the kinetosynthetic organisms are motile ?
