Love this! The composition by placing him in the upper right corner and looking slightly down looks fantastic while the white background doesn't seem boring to me. In my opinion, it helps the focus be on the fish which has so many details. Great job with the contrast and values using such dark darks and also leaving the white paper to shine through. You really captured his face well, and the look he's giving makes me smile.

Lovely job overall, I can really see the details in this piece and cannot imagine what it would look like larger or at its original size.
